Numerous historical sources exist covering the last 4000 years of the history of the Jezreel Valley.  Historical data contains a wealth of information that was never or is no longer part of the physical landscape. This page compiles historical references to the Jezreel Valley from the Middle Bronze Age to the present. This is an actively updated historical collection, so please check back frequently for updates.

For simplicity, we have organized these sources by general time period, but within each category you can find subdivisions relating to types of sources including travelers and historians, mythology, government data, etc.
